Rahul, started his career in 2008 at one of the premium cocktail bars of Bombay WINK in Taj President. After which, he was a part of the pre-opening team of Li Bai Cocktail Bar in Shangri-La Mumbai. Rahul joined The Bombay Canteen in 2015 and has been integral in changing the drinking scene of the city. True to the philosophy of The Bombay Canteen, the cocktails are inspired by indigenous seasonal ingredients. He carried this philosophy to O Pedro as well where by each drink finds a route and story back to Goa and Portugal.
Two-time winner of Ultimate Bartender Championship (regional round), two consecutive years of Best Bar Manager, India 2017 and 2018 by INCA. Rahul has also done bar guest shifts at Employees Only Hong Kong & Botanik Sri Lanka.
Both our bar teams at The Bombay Canteen and O Pedro are mentored by Rahul who always encourages our teams to come up with their own cocktails ideas.
